What we are (basically)
OnlyUp is a bimonthly online journal about issues facing young nonprofit employees. We think now is an important time to engage the nonprofit sector in a conversation about the future of social change leadership, and we hope this dialogue will lead to a stronger and more vibrant sector.
We could use your help!
We want to represent a wide range of viewpoints and we would love for you to share your expertise and experience with us. If you are interested in writing for our next issue, please get in touch. Tell us a little about yourself and what you're imagining for your piece. We're also looking for artists—especially, illustrators and painters—who can help us represent our message visually.
Editorial Process
We want to publish articles that will be inspiring and give hope to young nonprofit employees. At the same time, we want to challenge our readers. That means we will also include writing that may be critical or controversial or express an unpopular viewpoint—that we may not agree with as individuals—if we think it is important.
